Zephyr Damascus

This Zephyr is a 9" chefs knife made from Damasteel. The handle is stabilized Spalted Tamarind, Ivory and OliveG10 liners with a custom signature brass pin. The tang has been tapered to reduce weight in the handle and create a proper balance point at the grip, with a distal taper along the spine of the blade as well.

The steel is a combination of two hardening and corrosion resistant steels made from powder metallurgy. These steels are worked by blacksmiths in Sweden to create the pattern you see on the blade.
