This Cleaver is made from 3/16 A2 Steel that has been texturized and given a forced patina. Mainly used to chop through soft bone and large pieces of meat while breaking down proteins. The 8" blade has been hardened to 61/62 HRC to ensure the edge remains sharp for as long as possible. The handle is constructed using either wood or G10 scales, with a tapered tang to help reduce the overall weight.
